Iran aircraft construction industry company (HASA) has received all need
licenses in order to make the necessary preparations for launching Iran 140 aircraft in country's air fleet by airline companies who are interested in taking the new aircraft services in their fleet. After receiving main licenses including type and air worthiness of engine, maintenance centers establishment, installation of navigation system ACASII, passengers and flight crew insurance and radio systems licenses from civil aviation organization, HASA has established the maintenance center for "Iran 140". Each of the mentioned consequences has been an essential concern in country's official and industrial structure.

The project of purchasing 8 "Airbus A321" , 5 Airbus "330-200" and 3 Airbus "340-300" by Iran air for substituting and developing air fleet is a part of road and transportation ministry , that is under execution. The project of purchasing 13 "MD-90" aircrafts which are made from 1997 by Iran Air Tour as substitutions for rented Tupolev aircraft is another part of this purchasing program. (Tupolev aircrafts have been made 1993-1998) Also purchasing at least 5 "Tupolev 204" planes from Russia viewing Technologic and financial matters is mentioned in this program. Additionally, purchasing 8 "Airbus 320" aircrafts by Mahan Airline is another part of this program which has been executed partly. Also Asseman Airlines has decided to purchase 10 modern "Boeing" planes and at least 10 new "ATR" aircrafts. Purchasing 2 "Airbus 321" by "Safiran" company and purchasing 5 airbus aircrafts which are made on 1997 or later, 15 "Foker100" made on 1995 according to technical, safety and financial- concerns by private companies are other active projects in Road and transportation ministry.

The Iranian Airport Company is acquiring four thales-supplied EUROCAT ATCC systems for its main regional airports in the country. the contract includes training.

Installation of VOR and RCAG navigation system in Bam airport has begun. By installation
of these systems, plane's conduction in all directions and pilot's correlation with Tehran's control tower in different atmospheric qualifications will be possible. VOR is a system which conducts the plane by offering angle's data and station's recognition code in all directions. RCAG navigation system makes the correlation of pilot in all space and for regions with Tehran center possible.
Kerman province airports manager said: "Bam's airport control tower will be outfitted by stable navigation systems with specialty of 2350000 Rials credit." He also mentioned the reconstruction of Bam's airport runway light network which had been destroyed by last year's earthquake and said that the runway should be paved again.

Iran's road and transportation minister announced entrance of 15 new planes to Islamic republic
air fleet until the end of this year. Mr.Khorram said:" for renovation of country's air fleet, purchasing contract of 42 new planes has been signed and 22 of these planes have been joined Iran's air fleet." He also said:" inauguration of 1000 km Roads and 150 kms Railroad between Bafgh and Chadormalou will be started on government veneration week."

Thunder in London's Heathrow airport canceled Iran air's flight from London to Tehran.
One of this flight authorities said that thunder has damaged plane's generator and this Boeing 747 aircraft will not be able to operate until raising this problem. The event happened just before boarding of 350 passengers, and the plane was scheduled to depart Heathrow airport to Mehrabad airport on 17:00 (Local time) .London's weather rainy yesterday afternoon and according to one of the Iran air's flight operator report, some other planes which were perked at Heathrow airport were also damaged by Thunder. He said that such as great damage made by thunder is unprecedented in Heathrow airport.

File Description:
This terrain mesh scenery is centered on Tehran city. Ranging from 34.1°N to 37.5°N and 49.2°E to 54.8°E, it includes Elbourz mountain range as well as Caspian sea shores (28 meters below sea level). Based on SRTM Data (3 arcsec, 90m) and sampled to LOD9 resolution (76m) using Matthew Style's program "SRTM To BGL v1.04". While only tested with Fs2004, this mesh should also run with FS2002. SRTM 3 arcsec dataset has numerous and sometimes huge void areas. But thanks to John Child's beautiful and powerful "Black art" utility it's now easy to patch these areas with lower resolution dataset: I took the coupled interpolation method to merge SRTM 3-arcsec with SRTM 30-arcsec dataset when needed. This gives the best results, as patched areas with 30-arcsec data are blending naturally with surrounding 3-arcsec mesh. Of course the resolution of patched areas is quite poor, but still a bit better than the default LOD5 mesh. However, in exception of Demavend Peak, the SRTM data was quite good for this area and didn't need much patching so that the rendering is always excellent.Download Here!

According to oil Minister assistant of oil products purification and distribution affairs decree , since 25th April 2004 fuel in Imam Khomeini airport will be distributed on the same price as in other airports. distributed on the same price as in other airports. He added :" we hope that the government pays the differences of fuel price (1895 to 1980 Rials per liter) to the Airline companies."

America's Aerospace industry calls for abrogation of Iran's prohibitions (2004/05/02)

Middle East news line's internet section reported: "America's aerospace industry uses it's influence for abrogation of prohibitions which wakes Iran able to supply American unmilitary planes and their related spare parts. This internet section reported from craft sources that:" American aerospace industry companies asked Bush's government to abrogate Iran's prohibition for reinforcement of America's unmilitary Aviation craft. According to this report, this craft's sponsors have announced that selling unmilitary planes to Iran will not reinforce Iran's military power and it includes a humanitarian effort to stop frequent crashes in Iran's aviation system. This report , without mentioning the name of craft sources added: Approving sale of America's aerospace industry to Iran, could be suitable continuations for temporary Abrogation of this country's prohibitions on Iran that was done to quicken the aid operations in Bam's earthquake.

Interview With President of Iranian CAO About IKIA & Recent Agreement With Tupolev (2004/05/02)

Mr.Hajali fard (president of Iranian CAO) enounced About two agreements for Tupolev. CAO public relation reported/Mr.Hajali fard Also said: After times negotiation between Iranian and Russian Experts groups which held in last months these two Agreements because signed. In the first agreement Iran's expects about the plant's specifications delivered in items which was confirmed by Russian group. He said about the other agreements which is between CAO and IAC Russian Civil Aviation Department that refers to preparing license and flight Acceptance , and problems which take place in these processes will be A enounced to the Russian by this committee. According to Mr.Hajali fard speed, these agreements do not refer to the number of planes and just show the specific construction of planes and their parts which should be attended in time of delivery. Also it is Announced to CAO in April to held the negotiations About buying planes on the basis of Russian and Iran's experts agreements in same items which as anticipated by CAO. CAO director said the price of each plane before this agreement is 25 to 30 Billion dollars which may be changed by the specifications which are ordered by Islamic Republic of Iran. Mr. Hajali fard said the most economic height duration for this plane is 2 hours and 15 minutes, so this plane for flights between 1 to 3 hours is suitable. He also pointed that is not suited for Airlines which fly in short and this planes which will be added to Iran's flight system and just IRAN AIR (Islamic republic governmental fly co) will be insisted' which have the flight duration suitable for this planes.As he reported the delivery time of the first plane will be 18 months after the contract of buying agreement.
